Chopin Recital: Elevato Piano – Young Artists’ Concert
In Warsaw’s most beautiful music salon – the Fryderyk Concert Hall – you will hear outstanding artistic interpretations performed by remarkable young piano talents.

The artists will present their own interpretations of works by Fryderyk Chopin as well as composers of European Romanticism (including Maurice Ravel, Franz Schubert, Ferenc Liszt, and Robert Schumann).
They will perform on a magnificent Steinway concert grand piano, one of the most prestigious instruments in the world.
The concert consists of two parts with a short intermission, during which guests will be served a glass of sparkling wine.

ARTISTS
Anna Urzędowska
Born in 2006 in Nysa, Anna began piano studies at the age of six at the Witold Lutosławski State Primary and Secondary Music School in Nysa. In 2025, she graduated with distinction from the W. Żeleński State Music School in Kraków. She is currently studying with Professor Joanna Ławrynowicz-Just at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw.
She is a laureate of around 50 international and national piano competitions. Among her most notable achievements during her studies in Nysa are:
14th International Piano Competition “Chopin for the Youngest” in Antonin (2017 – 1st Prize)
12th International Maurycy Moszkowski Piano Competition in Kielce (2017 – Grand Prix)
17th International Juliusz Zarębski Music Competition in Łomianki (2017 – 1st Prize)
Yifan Ying
Praised as a “passionate pianist”, Yifan has performed in the USA, UK, the Netherlands, Czech Republic, South Korea, and China, including appearances at Carnegie Hall, Ehrbar Saal in Vienna, and the Royal College of Music in London.
She began piano at the age of four and debuted as a soloist at nine with the Hyman Youth Orchestra. She trained at the Shanghai Conservatory under Prof. Yang Yunlin and is a prizewinner of numerous competitions, including Elevato (2024), Golden Classical Music Awards (Carnegie Hall, 2024), and international competitions devoted to Debussy, Bizet, Elizabeth, and Saint-Saëns.
In 2025, she will perform Ravel’s Le Tombeau de Couperin at the RCM Keyboard Festival in London. She regularly takes part in masterclasses, studying with Jerome Lowenthal, Alexander Kobrin, and Pi-Hsien Chen. Yifan graduated from the Eastman School of Music and is now pursuing her master’s degree at the Royal College of Music in London with Norma Fisher.
Yang Zhang
Yang Zhang (b. 1996) is a Chinese pianist and chamber musician from Sichuan Province. He is currently pursuing a Doctor of Musical Arts degree at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw while also completing a postgraduate diploma at the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music under the guidance of Agnieszka Przemyk-Bryła, Janusz Olejniczak, and Szczepan Kończal. His doctoral advisor is Prof. Bartłomiej Kominek.
He earned his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees at the Lviv National Music Academy in Ukraine (2016–2022) under Honored Artist of Ukraine Prof. Myroslav Dragan Tarasovych, graduating summa cum laude in Piano Performance and Chamber Music.
Yang is a laureate of more than ten international piano competitions, including:
2nd Prize – Lviv Piano Competition (2018)
Concerto Prize – Poland Without Borders International Piano Forum (2023)
1st Prize – Clara Schumann International Competition (2024)
3rd Prize – Vienna Classic Music Competition (2025)
1st Prize – Fanny Mendelssohn International Competition (2025)
In 2024, he recorded Schumann’s Fantasiestücke Op. 12 and, together with pianist YinJia Mao, Rachmaninoff’s Suite No. 2 for Two Pianos at the Chopin University of Music Concert Hall in Warsaw. He is also an artist of the Chopin festival Chopin en Vacances.
Yang has performed at numerous music festivals, including the Bieszczady Without Borders International Piano Forum, Chopin–Górecki Music Festival, Bisma Piano Festival, Katowice International Piano Masterclasses, Classical Embrace, and Baltic Music Festival.
He has participated in masterclasses with world-renowned musicians such as Dmitri Alexeev, Andrzej Jasiński, Akiko Ebi, Andrzej Tatarski, Grigory Gruzman, Michael Bulychev-Okser, Carlo Palese, Elena Margolina-Hait, Wojciech Kocyan, and Aleksandra Zvirblyte.
Yejin Lee
Holds a Master’s degree from the Hochschule für Musik in Dresden. A laureate of many prestigious piano competitions, she is currently pursuing Konzertexamen studies in Trossingen.
